| Account Creation Rules and Guidelines |
1. Registration Please use only ONE (1) username. Do not attempt to make multiple accounts by registering more than one username. This will just cause confusion and waste of space. If you want your username changed, you can do so here. Back to top |
2. Username and Profile Usernames should not contain any foul words, bogus names, or the like. This also applies to other profile fields. Back to top |
3. Forum Participation When joining in this forum, you agree to share information by posting topics, replies, and other useful content that will help benefit the members. In other words, people with ZERO (0) posts that login regularly will be banned or removed. On the other hand, inactive members in both posting and logging in won't be removed. Back to top |

| Posting Rules and Guidelines |
4. Staying on Topic As much as possible, please stay on topic most especially on the Conference Hall section. In other sections, it is completely normal to go off-topic. However, please maintain a little bit of self-discipline and go back to the topic when needed. Repeated violations may get you banned. Once again off-topics are welcome to keep things fun and not too serious. Back to top |
5. Forum Behavior Taclobanoids is a public forum, therefore we should exercise some good and decent behavior when posting. Funny posts and jokes are welcome, but not too deep to the extent that it may harm another individual or group of individuals. Taclobanoids is a forum for growth and development. Please avoid any offending posts, topics, and the like. Free speech is welcome so long as it is not abused. Back to top |
6. Posting in the Correct Section Please post topics in the correct forum. If your not sure where to put it, the best place would be in General Discussions. Back to top |
7. Pornography, Warez, Disturbing Pictures Please do not use this forum to share illegal material such as pornography, warez, copyrighted material, and illegal acts. Disturbing images and content is also not allowed. Back to top |
8. Advertising This forum may not be used to advertise businesses and products. For more information, see the Advertising Rules below. Back to top |
9. Similar Topics When creating topics, make sure a topic hasn't been posted before. People below Junior Member rank may be exempted from this, but please do a quick search before posting the topic. Back to top |
10. Short Posts 8. When replying to topics, do it in a way that it will be worth reading for other users of this forum. Simple and short replies like "I agree" or "Ty!" or "Yup!" are usually marked for deletion. Although there may be exemptions, please avoid doing this alot. And oh, "No comment" posts will be deleted when found. Back to top |
11. Ignoring Off-topics If you see any off-topic or garbage posts, either ignore them or report them. Replying to them and riding with the conversation makes matters worse. Back to top |
12. Double Posting Please avoid double posting or making a reply a few minutes after your previous reply as it clutters the database and is a cheap way to increase post counts. If you forgot to add something to reply, you can always use the edit button to edit your post and add something you might have forgotten. If there has been no reply for at least 1 hour, then you may do a double post. Any spotted double posts will be merged by a moderator or admin. Back to top |
13. Large Image Usage Topics or replies, should not contain extra large images or large amounts of images to avoid unecessary bandwidth usage. Only use images on the photo gallery or if they are related to the topic. Back to top |
14. Text Enhancements Do not overuse text enhancements such as font colors and sizes. Same goes with emoticons although Pataraw-an is an exception. You are permitted though to have your own text styles so long as it's easy to read. Back to top |
15. Quoting Posts Go easy with the quote button and as much as possible, try to avoid quoting large amounts of text and quoted quotes. Back to top |
16. Topic Bumping Do not bump topics unless absolutely needed (meaning if you have something to say that has not been previously said). Bumping topics is the act of replying to very old topics so that they will brought back up to the list. Why? This causes new topics to be pushed further down. Some sections such as "Get Acquainted!" or "Lover's Lane" are exempted. You may however bump old topics with less than 15 replies if it is a non-help related topic. Back to top |
17. Mass Replying Please minimize (not necessarily avoid) mass-replies within the same section. Mass-replies occur when a user replies 1 topic after another in quick sucession. The result is a reversed order of Taclobanoids which in turn push the newer topics below which is inconvenient to those who posted new topics. 4-5 topic replies are ok, but usually more than that is unacceptable. Back to top |
18. Mass Topics Please try not post too many topics in the same section in a short period of time as it may bring other people's topics to a lower level. A good way to contribute to the forum is to post in different sections and/or to post let's say 2-3 topics per day. Back to top |
19. Appropriate Topic Descriptions Please make sure your topics have a good subject description, specifically related to the content of your post. Examples of bad subject titles are "hello....", "hehehehe", etc. Back to top |
20. Unwanted Topics If you don't like a topic, don't reply to it. If you want it closed, just PM a moderator. Back to top |

22. Tall Signatures For using text signatures, try to avoid using too many line breaks resulting to a very tall sig. They just consume space. Any forms of color and style are welcome. Back to top |

24. Advertising Both avatars and signatures may not be used to advertise for profit. However, you may advertise topics and personal websites such as blogs etc. Back to top |

| Enjoy Your Stay! :) |
Have Fun! Lastly, I would to ask all to enjoy posting here in this forum. These rules aren't used to exercise power by the Administrators and Moderators, but to ensure that the forum is run smoothly. We cannot guarentee to enforce all these rules as we have lives ourselves and we cannot keep an eye on the forum everyday nor read every single topic available. If you find any posts violating the rules, feel free to report to us.
Rules have their exceptions, remember that. And of course since many of you here are my friends, I will go lightly with the rules, but it would be nice for all of you to be aware of the rules here and to follow them accordingly.
Thanks for spending time reading this. Happy posting Taclobanoids! Back to top |
